Lewisburg, PA

Yesterday, we dropped our son off at camp and my DH took me through Lewisburg. It is a quaint town. I loved seeing the college campus. On a whim I pulled out my blackberry and pulled up AQ and randomly chose a drive through. As it happens, we were super close to the exact location of it. It was great to find an unexpected My-trishka.

Pond Pirate

I found a few free minutes to plant a new box, Pond Pirate. It is one of my earlier carvings, but I felt he needed a home and this seemed like a good place. And, hopefully, one that the Caped Coder and Mip can find their way to easily.

The Liveliest Cemetery

Another recent outing took me to a cool place. Hydeez Mom and I headed out to find the Dead Ahead series. I was interested in this series as I am a Dead fan but I was pleasantly surprised with the location. I thought it would be a typical cemetery but this was far from the case. This cemetery was like none other than I've seen. It was happy, whimsical, and had a good sense of humor. Hydeez Mom and I found it to be highly entertaining.

Hidden in Chatham

I've spent many, many years vacationing in Chatham, MA. But I never knew there was the Old Grist Mill. In fact, last year I went to try to get this box and incorrectly went to the Brewster Grist Mill. But this year I got it right and finally found what I was looking for. I even had a new boxing partner, Hydeez Mom. It was a great Cape day!
